Adventures in Hradec Králové
I teach English, French and Spanish and I’m also support on Sales Department (translating documents) in SV Metal s.r.o.
This is my second internship in the Czech Republic. I don’t really know a certain reason why I chose first time to come here but later I fell in love with the language, even though some peoplehere are quite cold.
I want to learn the language and discover the culture, that’s why I came here in my second internship (1 year and 6 months). Being fond of languages I see in Czech language a lot of mystery which gives me a lot of excitement to discover and enjoy it.
Work is great, my collegues already gave me a pozitive feed-back for what I’m doing. In my spare time is really crazy! If I should tell you all the stories that I took part at in these almost 3 months since I’m in Hradec I would need more time to write.
Briefly, I can tell you that i participated in some free concerts in the Phylarmonic, great feast for Queen Eliska, Letecky Den and many other cultural events.
As for informal ways of relaxing I am going clubbing sometimes (Hradec, Praha, Brno, Pardubice etc) or for swimming! (I already went for naked swimming which was something new for me but I enjoyed the view.) I am also going for Geocaching sometimes with my colegues, it’s really fun and good for team-building.
My latest great event was FallCo – national AIESEC conference for new members. Met and fell in love with the other trainees from Czech Republic, especially with the German-Romanian dream-team and New Zeeland!
